MeLuna

My honest unbiased review.
The Meluna brand is manufactured in Germany but follows USA grading. Made out of TPE with safe color dyes or no dye option. Meluna comes in three different firmness levels as well as eight different sizes with three handle types for a larger range of comfort. Soft ranges as a 2 in firmness level. Classic ranges as a 4 in firmness level. And Sport ranges as a 5 in firmness level. There are two main size ranges; Standard for average to high cervix height or Shorty for average to low cervix height. With 4 sizes in each range; S, M, L, and XL for a total of eight sizes to choose from. Handle types include Ring, Ball, and Stem.

Both Standard and Shorty cups follow the same diameters in size. The S is 38mm; The M is 41mm - The L is 44mm; The XL is 47mm; Standard's Lengths- NOT including stems as stem sizes vary! The S is 45mm; The M is 48mm - The L is 52mm; The XL is 56mm; Shorty's Lengths- Not including stems as stem sizes vary! The S is 35mm; The M is 38mm - The L is 41mm; The XL is 44mm

They are all identical, just slightly smaller or larger than the last so if one works for you than so should the others. You'll just need to figure out which size would be best for yourself. Sport tends to open much easier than the other firmness levels. Classic is the best in comfort and should be considered the firmness level to start with if just starting with the MeLuna Brand. Soft being the most difficult to open but the least noticeable once in place. For me, the ball stem is the most comfortable. The ring stems are the easiest to start with. And the stem the best for the very high cervix placement. And each a personal preference in comfort so you can pretty much figure out what you need with just trying one. They do offer a quiz on the website that might help you decide on sizing, leaving stem and firmness level up to you.

All the cups are of decent quality. The spring the cups have varies depending on which firmness level. The MeLuna brand is affordable, but the TPE tends to soften over time making it more difficult to open so that should be taken into consideration. They have added a rewards program for returning customers and cup Donations if you'd like to help someone in need. They also offer other feminine health products and supplies for cups, that are worth looking into on their website. Overall, for the price, it's a great brand to go with or to start with.

I shall be posing more reviews as I go; as well as useful information in hopes of helping other woman finding their perfect cup or period alternative!
